REULYN WINE CO

Meet Reulyn Wine Co

Geoff and Emma

Our story

Our love for wine began many moons ago on our honeymoon in Europe, where a deep appreciation for wine culture truly took hold. From that moment on, we were hooked, ‘wine people’ through and through.

We both grew up surrounded by nature: Emma in the picturesque Swan Valley and Geoff in the lush forests of Dwellingup. Raised with a strong work ethic, we’ve always felt at home outdoors—eager to take on challenges and explore new possibilities.

Winemaking felt like a natural fit with a perfect blend of creativity and precision. The process of turning grapes into something expressive and alive captured our imaginations. It’s equal parts art and science, patience and passion, and with that, we were all in.

Our story

The connection between land, grape, and the joy of sharing wine with family and friends is at the heart of why we began making wine. It’s a way to bring people together and forms connections.

Over a decade ago, we made our very first baby batch of wine which was a humble beginning that sparked something much bigger. As our family grew with the arrival of our two children, so did our desire to build something lasting. A legacy grounded in passion, creativity, and connection.

Reulyn Wine Co. is named after our children — a blending of their names and the inspiration behind our wine label. Our journey is about more than wine; it’s about family, tradition, and passing down something meaningful through the generations.

We’re deeply grateful to the many people who have guided and supported us along the way, helping us find our footing on a path that now feels like it was always meant to be.

Our Production

Our production process begins with a gentle landing for our grapes, most of our fruit is hand-picked to ensure the highest quality from vine to basket. We often time our harvests around the full moon cycle, a practice we believe helps capture the ripest, most expressive fruit we’ve worked so hard to grow.

In the winery, we work with a mix of traditional tools and modern techniques, including whole bunch pressing, varying skin contact durations (both short and extended), and carbonic maceration. Our micro-batch production allows us to focus closely on flavour, texture, and the art of creative blending. Making wine on a small scale gives us the freedom to experiment. We're not bound by tradition, which means we get to have fun trialing new varietals, styles, and flavour combinations.

Floral, fruit-forward, and texturally engaging wines are our signature — wines that feel alive in the glass and are a joy to drink.

We’re passionate about exploring climate-resilient grape varieties that are well-suited to our region’s evolving weather patterns. Recently, we began planting our new vineyard on a seven-acre block in the Swan Valley, introducing varieties such as Nero d’Avola, Negroamaro, Aglianico, Arinto, and Vermentino. These grapes are not only well-adapted to warmer climates, but we believe they’ll thrive in our landscape and produce expressive, future-forward wines for years to come.

Our Approach

At Reulyn Wine Co, we craft small-batch wines with a focus on simplicity and purity. Our goal is to let the fruit shine, allowing natural flavours to speak without unnecessary interference. Each wine begins with purposefully sourced fruit grown sustainably on vines we've tended to or from growers who share our respect for the land.

We believe great wine starts with healthy vines and respecting that connection between plant growth and winemaking is central to everything we do.

Over five years ago we were given the privilege by family, of taking on a vineyard in Quindanning W.A. The vines had been neglected for many years, but we saw their potential. With care, patience, and a lot of hard work, we brought them back to life. Today, that vineyard rewards us with beautiful Sauvignon Blanc and Shiraz.

Our vine care philosophy is simple: keep it minimal, sustainable, and gentle on the land. Healthy, balanced vines produce better fruit and better wine.
